Annapurna Circuit Trek – Day-to-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport.

  • Meet our representative, transfer to your hotel.

  • Rest and prepare for the trek.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

  • Visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

  • Gear check and pre-trek briefing with your guide.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m)

  • Scenic 6–7 hour drive through countryside, terraced fields, rivers, and villages.

Day 04: Drive Besisahar to Chame (2715m)

  • 5–6 hour drive through waterfalls, forests, and mountain views.

  • Enter the Annapurna Conservation Area.

Day 05: Trek Chame to Upper Pisang (3300m)

  • 5–6 hour trek through pine and fir forests.

  • Cross suspension bridges; enjoy views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.

Day 06: Trek Upper Pisang to Manang (3351m)

  • 5–6 hour trek through changing landscapes.

  • Pass Braga village and its ancient monastery.

  • Arrive in Manang, a vibrant mountain village.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day in Manang

  • Rest and explore Manang.

  • Optional hikes: Gangapurna Lake, Bhojo Gompa, Milarepa’s Cave.

  • Visit Himalayan Rescue Association Clinic.

Day 08: Trek Manang to Yak Kharka/Ledar (4018m)

  • 4–5 hour trek through alpine meadows and yak pastures.

  • Stay in either Yak Kharka or Ledar.

Day 09: Trek Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi/High Camp (4450m)

  • 4–5 hour trek to the base of Thorang La Pass.

  • Option to stay at High Camp for a head start on the pass crossing.

Day 10: Cross Thorang La Pass (5416m), Trek to Muktinath (3798m)

  • 7–8 hour trek over one of the world’s highest passes.

  • Descend to the holy site of Muktinath.

Day 11: Trek Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m)

  • 5–6 hour descent via Kagbeni village.

  • Arrive in Jomsom, a bustling mountain town.

Day 12: Jomsom to Pokhara (Flight or Drive)

  • Option 1: 20-minute scenic flight to Pokhara.

  • Option 2: 6–7 hour drive through the Kali Gandaki Valley.

  • Free time to explore Pokhara.

Day 13: Drive Pokhara to Nayapul, Trek to Ghorepani (2853m)

  • 1.5-hour drive to Nayapul.

  • 7–8 hour trek through villages and up stone steps to Ghorepani.

Day 14: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2630m) via Poon Hill

  • Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views.

  • 5–6 hour trek through rhododendron forests to Tadapani.

Day 15: Trek Tadapani to Chhomrong (2179m)

  • 5–6 hour trek through forests and along ridges.

  • Views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.

Day 16: Trek Chhomrong to Dovan (2670m)

  • 5–6 hour trek through bamboo and rhododendron forests.

  • Cross suspension bridges; arrive at Dovan.

Day 17: Trek Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m)

  • 5–6 hour trek deeper into the Modi Khola Valley.

  • Reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp with close-up views of Fishtail Mountain.

Day 18: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

  • 2–3 hour trek to the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary.

  • Surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.

Day 19: Trek Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m)

  • 6–7 hour descent through familiar landscapes.

  • Stay in Bamboo village.

Day 20: Trek Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) – Hot Springs

  • 5–6 hour trek to Jhinu Danda.

  • Relax in natural hot springs.

Day 21: Trek Jhinu Danda to Pothana (1900m)

  • 5–6 hour trek through forests and villages.

  • Enjoy panoramic mountain views from Pothana.

Day 22: Trek Pothana to Dhampus Phedi, Drive to Pokhara (850m)

  • 2–3 hour trek to Dhampus Phedi.

  • Short drive to Pokhara.

  • Free time to explore Pokhara: Phewa Lake, World Peace Pagoda, Devi’s Fall, and more.

Day 23: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu

  • Comfortable tourist bus ride back to Kathmandu.

  • Rest and souvenir shopping.

Day 24: Departure

  • Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
